Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead all aspects of our line of laboratory refrigerators and freezers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of the laboratory equipment market, and a consistent track record of bringing successful products to market. This role requires a strategic problem solver who can drive product development, lead product lifecycles, and ensure our products meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for laboratory refrigerators and freezers.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Define product vision, positioning, and differentiation to ensure a competitive edge in the market.

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, R&D, marketing, and sales, to drive product development from concept to launch.
  • Build detailed product specifications, requirements, and timelines.
  • Coordinate the design, testing, and validation of new products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Lead the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through end-of-life.
  • Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans for product updates, enhancements, and discontinuations.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling product collateral, sales tools, and training materials.
  • Support the sales team with product knowledge, demos, and customer presentations.

Customer Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and feedback related to laboratory refrigerators and freezers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry experts, and team members.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or an equivalent field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, preferably in the laboratory equipment or medical device industry.
  • Proven understanding of laboratory refrigeration and freezing technologies and applications.
  • Proven track record to develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%).
