This role is focused on driving the new EXENT® system portfolio from a product management perspective. The EXENT mass spectrometry solution is an innovative technology in the field of monoclonal gammopathy assessment. The primary function of this global role is to support the recent launch of this breakthrough technology on market and guide the product pipeline from development through to commercialization and launch.
Location/Division Specific Information
Location: UK, Birmingham (Hybrid, 3 days in Office)
A day in the Life:
- Drive new IVD products through development to commercialization via the NPD (new product development) process.
- Facilitate the product life cycle process for the existing product portfolio.
- Collect and leverage voice-of-Customer / Voice-of-Expert to define critical customer and product requirements to guide development.
- Translate deep understanding of customer workflows and customer needs into sharp customer insights to craft product positioning and support value proposition activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
- Build collaborative cross-functional relationships with Sales, R&D, Finance, Regulatory and Quality colleagues, acting as a pivot role to ensure alignment and success.
- Build product documentation and support product launch activities, including coordinating with internal & global subsidiary team members, preparing marketing collateral, and assisting in go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and deliver product training programs for internal and external customers.
- Collect global market and competitor intelligence and translate this into useable market insights to support positioning and commercialisation of the product.
- Sustain product documentation and monitor product quality in line with the Quality management system.
Keys to Success:
Education
Master's degree in Immunology, biochemistry, or related science.
Marketing/business qualification or MBA desirable
Experience
- Significant experience of in-depth commercial, product management, business development and/or marketing in the medical device, clinical diagnostics or life sciences industry in an international setting.
- Strong clinical background with experience in clinical IVD product portfolio management.
- Specialization in instrumentation and software product management in a regulated environment is desirable.

- Shown success in bringing innovative technology to the clinical market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Ability to understand complex technology and articulate strong customer value/benefit propositions.
- Proven success working in a global, matrixed-environment with ability to influence without direct authority.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation abilities in English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
