Role & Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end testing of GC, GC-MS, ICP-OES and ICP-MS systems as well as related techniques and peripherals; participate in verification and validation studies to demonstrate system fitness for requirements;
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to demonstrate successful integration of hardware and software packages across various environments and topologies;
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in product performance;
  • Communicate project progress to other functional teams, collaborators, and management; generate clear documentation for status reports.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • BS/MS degree in science (chemistry, biology, or related field), software, or engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of laboratory experience using analytical instrumentation;
  • Hands-on experience with one or more analytical techniques: GC, GC-MS, AAS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of instrumentation in the field of analytical separation techniques, inorganic or organic mass spectrometry or trace elemental analysis;
  • Technical curiosity and willingness to master the principles of modern analytical system, including instrument modules, separation techniques, detection methods as well as automation and sample preparation;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, matrix-managed environment;
  • Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement.

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 183,33-€3 270,83.
