How will you make an impact?

Operates as a supplier risk and compliance specialist within the Procurement team and across a global network of divisions, groups, functions and categories to ensure successful program delivery. In conjunction with relevant suppliers and business partners, identifies compliance and risk factors to address and implement mitigating actions.s. Leads project planning, management, and hands-on execution. Communicates across diverse community of partners to hedge against unforeseen supplier risk and non-compliance with local laws and regulations. Directs on-time, quality delivery of work products; leads implementation processes, risks, and communications.

What will you do?

Scale of Responsibilities

  • Controls supplier compliance and risk preventative measures to minimize supply chain risk and ensure compliance with local/ regional laws and regulations.
  • Supports supplier compliance and risk assessment processes, identifies supplier risk, drives supplier compliance.
  • Maintains continuous process/ output tracking for audit/ compliance checks and internal self-assessment.
  • Supports compliance and risk processes, metrics management and initiatives.
  • Works across business units and divisions to identify, engage, and track participation in relevant processes.
  • May run multiple projects at a time with well-documented and organized project management skills to problem solve and support enterprise and functional objectives.
  • Implements effective communication plans and delivers presentations to propose key initiatives, provide critical implementation updates, operational line-of-sight, and demonstrate delivery of value within the organization.
  • Coordinates data inputs across the function to enable key reporting visibility and insights.
  • Uses suppliers, and business partner inputs and knowledge of existing systems and constraints to develop standard reporting requirements and drive process improvements

Technical Responsibilities

  • Applies consistent project management approaches and process coordination, reports roadblocks and variances to project plan, ensure projects are on schedule and achieve stated objectives.
  • Tracks and monitors timely completion of compliance and supplier risk prevention processes, plan vs. actual, and report progress as required.
  • Runs overall project plans, track progress, handling overall schedules, resources, and timelines.
  • Detects and facilitates issue resolution including appropriate actions to address program risk.
  • Maintains document repository and file structure as well as access rights, cataloguing and monitoring version control on key documents.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with global, cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Coordinates with team members to identify and document resource constraints.
  • Works with suppliers and key internal and external partners to achieve key deliverables on time and within plan, develop relationships within the company to complete assigned projects.
  • Integrates diverse views while participating in targeted content deep dive sessions to enable problem solving.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Science.

Experience

  • Three to five years experience managing programs and project initiatives, preferably within a Procurement function
  • Familiarity with core Procurement processes such as supplier selection, onboarding, and procure to pay preferred
  • Life Sciences, BioTech, or Pharma industry preferred
  • Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Category Management preferred
  • Experience in Supply Chain Sustainability, Supplier Responsibility, Supply Chain Due Diligence or Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) a plus
  • Process improvement background (PPI, Lean, Six Sigma, etc) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • B2+ English Level. Fluent in English written and spoken.
  • Exceptional data analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to efficiently organize forums and coordinate communication with team members
  • Robust project management skills and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills for structuring ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate with and present to Senior Leadership
  • Strong proficiency in MS-Office tools (specifically, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Able to use supplier information management/ data systems
  • Demonstrated ability to make recommendations on and deliver assigned projects
  • Can work independently, within a team, and collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to collaborate with matrix project teams of peers and other partners and navigate within a matrix environment
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple sites and platforms in a virtual office environment
  • Multi-tasking skills and planning for prioritizing personal workload
  • Able to manage change effectively and frequently
