Our PPD® Laboratory Services team has a direct impact on improving patient health through the expertise of scientists, industry thought-leaders and therapeutic experts. Discover Impactful Work:

  • Ensures all activities are executed in compliance with company good practices and client requirements.
  • Completes on-going training on new regulations concerning clinical trials and related supplies.
  • Participates in and supports department project teams including development projects/clinical trial supply strategy. May serve as a project lead in these efforts.
  • Assists in the development and suggestion of process improvements and/or to updates departmental SOPs.
  • Ensure that import & export activities are done according to Company requirements, Client requirements and applicable regulations.
  • Actively assist Trade Compliance Management in updates related applicable regulations in the country of employee's scope.
  • Executes Import & Export plan, in place for each project, when needed, and actively make suggestions according to local operation requirements.
  • Serves as a local point of contact related Import Export and Trade Compliance in-country and regions where support needed.
  • Identify to Trade Compliance Management applicable import & export issues.
  • Provide appropriate recommendations and alerts from internal and external stakeholders relating to Trade Compliance topics.
  • Suggest and participates in ongoing Training on new Regulations concerning Import/Exports activities.
  • Support filing of import/export documentation and Updated Company Metrics.
  • Trains, coaches and mentors other Import/Export Coordinators.

Education and Experience:

  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Technical positions may require a certificate
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 6 years). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate English and excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Adaptive to changes
  • Ability to utilize proper channels of communications to voice concerns and suggestions
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Explorer), including keyboarding skills
  • Capable of working in a team environment as well as work independently with direct supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving/decision making skills with an ability to act as a liason
