Job Description
As a PPI Business System Specialist II at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a crucial role in improving our organization's efficiency. You will support major projects that involve multiple teams, analyze our current business processes, systems, and workflows, and suggest effective enhancements. By leveraging our existing systems and introducing new technologies, you will help implement improvements that will enhance our operations.

Responsibilities
- Support and implement quality control processes to achieve the highest quality standards.
- Perform lean assessments on supply chain process and fulfillment system performance, proposing change initiatives to reduce cost and optimize capacity
- Develop and maintain work instructions for operator stations and equipment operations
- Collaborate with Operations, Client Services, Finance, and Quality Control teams to resolve technical problems and implement required changes
- Manage capital investment projects, such as building renovations or additions, and process improvements
- Create and maintain cost-effective process area layouts throughout the facility
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Research, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Clinical Trials environment
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and techniques, with shown implementation experience
- PPI certification is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, ERPs, and other software used within the supply chain
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
