The Carlsbad facility provides distribution capacity for finished goods on the West Coast and help streamline supply chain to improve our customer experience. Summary:

You will contribute to the development and implementation of the Practical Process Improvement (PPI) program at the site level. You will build on the strengths of company programs, while leading new initiatives to discover opportunities for improvement.

  • Insightfully cultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve KPIs, in the areas of safety, customer, finance, people and quality.
  • Facilitates cross-functional teams to improve current processes onsite and communicates results/expectations
  • Monitors and reports key performance indicators, performs root cause analysis, implements action plans, and strives for continuous improvement
  • Processes data, creates presentations, and records results using Microsoft office programs
  • Work with the expanded team to develop/promote/standardize the PPI Business System further
  • Proactively interface with internal customers and peers to drive continuous improvement initiatives, using Lean and Six Sigma principles
  • Schedule Gemba Walks, Kaizen Events, submit End of Day Report, update Scorecards, and JDIs (Just Do Its)

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, or related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and/or current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP) is a plus.

  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office suite
  • Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $25.60/hr - $38.40/hr.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
