Allergon is part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division, which develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood testing systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergies, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. As a world-leading producer of allergen source materials, Allergon is also a supplier to many external global customers who manufacture medicines for the treatment of allergies.

At Allergon in Ängelholm, we are 50 people who work together to provide both our internal Thermo Fisher Scientific site in Uppsala as well our external global customers with high-quality allergen source materials and scientific support for the allergy business.

How you will make an impact:

The Planning Manager is an important member of the Technical Operations Leadership team, being responsible for the planning function and the inventory management of the site, reporting to the Sr Manager, Operations.

This is a varied role where you as the manager will be involved in planning process development, leading your team, structuring and managing inventory levels and clearly communicate progress to the site management team and stakeholders within the division.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or proven experience in lieu of a degree
  • Supply Chain academy degree will be seen as a merit.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in leading Production, Planning and Operations related activities, 5 years+ experience preferred
  • ERP system (SAP) experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in capacity planning, production levelling and identifying and managing production constraints
  • Understanding of MPS and MRP processes
  • Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and provide reports to satisfy ongoing inquires on inventory, capacity, and product availability.
  • Management experience working with strategic plans and talent development.
  • Fluent in Swedish and proficiency in English
