How will you make an impact?

Our pharmaceutical Packaging Room Leader will timely and accurately assemble and/or label pharmaceutical clinical drug trial treatments following the associated manufacturing regulatory standards and procedures. You will prepare batch records for job steps as they enter/exit the work centers and ensure all GMP standards are met. You will also take the lead on assigning daily tasks to packaging production colleagues in the manufacturing work center(s), ensure paperwork is accurate, and make sure assigned tasks are proficiently completed on time.

A Day in the Life:

  • Review daily order/batch paperwork to perform the required packaging procedures needed for assembly of each clinical trial study.
  • Ensure all packaged product and contents of packages are accounted for, documented, and standard operating procedures are met.
  • Complete packaging of pharmaceutical drugs and treatments manually or while using automated equipment.
  • Keep accurate inventory records of packaging supplies.
  • Make decisions to accept or reject product to product acceptability and quality standards

Education

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Experience

  • Required: Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, packaging, production, or related job.

Preferred: Experience in the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Optimally help to coordinate work tasks with peers in one or more manufacturing work centers.
  • Read and accurately interpret procedural manuals, training materials, and product records.
  • Excellent teammate who can complete tasks independently, safely, accurately, and timely and helps others as needed.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Ability to stand for long intervals of time and lift or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and gowns in work centers.
  • Near Vision Acuity with minimum 20/40 corrected vision and color vision.
