Our dedicated early phase clinical trials team, within the PPD™ clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific, consists of global experts in early development and clinical pharmacology. With our extensive facilities, site network, operational expertise, and development experience, we specialize in developing integrated, early-phase programs that efficiently conduct trials involving both patients and healthy volunteers.

Discover Impactful Work:

Oversees research strategy for new indications and patient sub-segments and synthesize findings for

knowledge sharing across the organization.

  • Conducts patient focused research through patient surveys, interviews with physicians and global research.
  • Identifies, recruits, and schedules a variety of patients, physicians, and caregivers for interviews to better understand current treatment scenarios and barriers to clinical trial enrollment.
  • Builds community relationships with external vendors, physicians and patient networks to increase awareness of our site and our studies
  • Maintains relationships with key community representatives to aide in recruitment of patients for all indications of studies run at the site
  • Works through internal processes to add new vendors and physicians to approved vendor list
  • Serve as a consultant to existing marketing teams on how to better identify awarded patient populations
  • Advises the business on actionable items resulting from the patient focused research.
  • Writes customized proposal content for sponsor discussions.
  • Identifies gaps in existing knowledge and proactively deploys tactics to gain understanding.
  • Writes and deploys surveys to pull through responses and findings.
  • Implements online surveys to understand the health, lifestyle information as was motivational factors of potential clinical study participants

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years').

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong writing skills • Ability to independently problem solve and apply unique solutions to problems • Ability to independently research • Solid knowledge of advertising • Solid knowledge of clinical trial designs • Strong oral and written communication skills • Time management skills and analytical skills • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Management Role: No management responsibility

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day. • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

• Frequent mobility required.

• Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

• Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

• Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf

. • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. • Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups. • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task. • Regular and consistent attendance.
