Environmental Conditions
Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Shift: 3rd Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 7:00am

A Day in the Life:

  • Demonstrates and promotes Thermo Fisher's 4I Values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.
  • Applies Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility.
  • Complies with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe & efficient manner.
  • Lead daily safety, quality and delivery goals for assigned jobs.
  • Performs in-room task assignments and training for all packaging jobs.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • This position requires hand-eye coordination, dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands. This includes:
  • Must have working mathematical skills for counting, adding, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
  • Ability to interpret 2D Diagrams and batch paperwork to ensure proper assembly of clinical supplies.
