What will you do?

  • Prepares manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products. To include the cleaning, storage, and stocking of Drums, sanitainers, pallets.
  • Safely operates various types cleaning equipment to include strahman stations, foaming agents, pumps, industrial scrubbers, ect.
  • Disassembles, cleans, and re-assembles equipment using basic hand tools
  • Performs GMP functions daily and accurately to include but not limited to Daily DI Taps, sample room cleaning, eye wash station testing, stocking rooms with materials, and cleaning department washrack.
  • Assists with troubleshooting of equipment and process issues
  • Maintains accurate, neat, error free records such as logbooks, green cards, and other GMP documentation.
  • Accurately follows production documents, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs)
  • Identifies safety, quality, and efficiency improvements and actively participates in learning organization development
  • Maintains a neat work area and follows department safety rules
  • Performs duties in other work areas as required.

How will you get here?

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Manufacturing Operations experience (GMP facility preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience in pharmaceutical production preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and reassemble various types of equipment.
  • Basic reading comprehension and math skills necessary to follow complex technical instructions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Prior computer operation and experience is desirable.
  • Ability to manipulate/handle drums weighing up to 110 kg and lift containers weighing up to 40 kg.
  • Job requires wearing personal protective equipment to include white zone gowning requirements and various styles of respirators and chemical resistant PPE.
  • Ability to utilize a stand up fork lift and walkie stacker
