A Day in the Life:

In this role, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities and tasks, including:

  • Coordinating personnel and resource planning to ensure flawless operations
  • Monitoring team performance daily and providing coaching and support as needed
  • Troubleshooting issues using lean methodology and providing clear and concise feedback
  • Deputizing for Operations Management when required and being the main point of contact for the operations team
  • Working a rotating 7-day shift pattern to lead a team responsible for receiving, packaging, and shipping life-saving products
  • Collaborating with Client Services and Quality to provide a gold standard service for our clients
  • Ensuring a magical experience for both your team and our customers

Keys to Success:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

Education:

  • Preferably educated to a degree level in a science or engineering field, but relevant operational experience will also be considered
  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong background in continuous improvement and a proven understanding of Lean methodology

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams that consistently achieve outstanding results
  • Passion for developing yourself and others
  • Experience in batch manufacturing and/or packaging within a technical or scientific field preferred
  • Proven track record in continuous improvement initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for extended periods of time
  • Excellent leadership skills with a natural proactive approach
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20Kgs frequently and 30Kgs occasionally
