Job Description

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as an Engineer I, QA, and help us make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This is a core shift role, with the potential for flexible hours, allowing for growth and success in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed root cause analysis into quality issues, document investigations, and successfully implement appropriate CAPAs to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate within packaging and supply chain teams to carry out root cause analysis for deviations, ensuring flawless processes.
  • Conduct trending analyses and identify any reoccurring issues to improve our world-class quality standards.
  • Ensure all TrackWise items are promptly submitted, maintaining outstanding quality metrics.
  • Author and approve process changes in eDMS as required, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver additional training to operatives as needed, encouraging an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Attend tier boards and other meetings as required to determine and address quality concerns.

Minimum / Preferred Experience

  • Extensive relevant experience in operational areas, demonstrating a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of GMP / SAP environments, showcasing your ability to compete in a highly regulated field.
  • Experience with relevant systems, including TrackWise and electronic Document Management System (eDMS).
  • Background within Quality, emphasising your dedication to maintaining high standards.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively share insights and solutions.
  • Good standard of English (written and verbal) to ensure clear and concise documentation.
  • Outstanding attention to detail to identify and address quality issues.
  • Ability to analyse problems and define solutions to maintain our flawless quality standards.
  • Flexible and adaptable to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
