Job Description
The Nucleic Acids Value Stream Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the entire value stream process, from raw material acquisition to product delivery, ensuring flawless execution in safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Lead team to achieve critical metrics in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the value stream, including process improvements, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Continuous Improvement:
- Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the value stream.
- Apply tools like Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma to identify and eliminate waste.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Team Development:
- Build and develop a hard-working team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure clear communication of goals, expectations, and feedback.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the value stream budget, including cost control and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial targets.
- Examine financial data to find opportunities for improvement.
Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to understand and meet customer needs.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Address and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects within the value stream, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management, preferably in a leadership role;
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools;
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence;
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions;
- Strong project management skills and experience managing cross-functional teams;
- Competence in financial management and ability to effectively handle budgets and financial performance.

Compensation
The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €41 300,00-€62 000,00.
