Job Description
The Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for our Molecular, Equipment and Post Transplant product lines is a role within the Transplant Diagnostics Division and is focused on the clinical markets. Our diagnostic tests are used by transplant centers worldwide to resolve compatibility of donors and recipients to ensure successful transplant outcomes. This technical role will focus on building key strategic relationships with customers and develop new opportunities to build a strong a pipeline for future growth. This individual will apply their sales experience, Molecular process knowledge, product expertise, market intelligence, and project management skills to grow sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
The position will work closely with their internal teams to develop specific account growth strategies for the molecular product portfolio specific the HLA Tissue Typing Market.
- Highly technical position and requires in depth knowledge and / or experience using Molecular product workflows within HLA in the areas of PCR, SBT, RT-qPCR, SSO and NGS.
- Identify and understand customer goals, priorities and challenges to provide HLA Molecular solutions and presentations best positioned to address the customer need
- Prioritizes New Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to improve adoption rates and revenue return
- Provides pre and post- sales product support, follows up on all product performance complaints or inquiries to ensure resolution to improve the customer experience
- Consistently lead sales process with HLA Account Managers to include sales forecasting, funnel and opportunity management through the use of SFDC and other designated tracking tools.
- Participate in regional trade shows, workshops and conferences to position and message our Transplant and HLA product solutions.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Molecular Biology.
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in the Clinical Industry or Transplant HLA Market!
- Ability to travel overnight 50% of the time. Willingness to travel by air.
- Candidates to reside on the East Coast to be considered for this position due to the nature of our business operations and time zone requirements.
- Microsoft Software Experience a must. SFDC experience a plus.
