In this role you will become a key member of our Biosciences sales team serving our Pharma R&D customers in the DACH region. This role is passionate about rapidly growing our portfolio of cell and molecular biology, protein and cell analysis, and sample preparation solutions. To achieve success, you will need to forge positive relationships within the existing customer base and develop new business opportunities.
This is an office-based role where the primary method of contact is phone and digital solutions. Field visits will be part of the role and successful candidates are encouraged to travel within territory up to 20% of their time to develop relationships with our customers.
As the driving force behind our revenue growth, your main responsibilities will include:
- Strategy & Tactics: Utilise account and territory planning tools to develop and implement innovative sales strategies to (over-) achieve revenue targets with your assigned accounts.
- Customer Interaction: Build and manage relationships with customers to identify needs and provide appropriate solutions. Detail your activity in our CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly within our matrix organization, involve colleagues across various divisions and functions to deliver outstanding results.
- Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts
What We're Looking For:
- Education: A solid background in Life Sciences (Master's or PhD).
- Languages: Proficiency in both German and English.
- Experience: Preferably some initial experience in sales, with a proactive and eager approach. Product and market knowledge is a plus.
- Skills: Proactive attitude with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving attitude, effective time management and a collaborative spirit.
