How will you make an impact?
As Microbiological Lab Intern, you will join the QC Microbiological Lab, reporting to the laboratory team Leader. Using your technical and analytical skills, you will support the quality control microbiological team to complete the microbiological testing and in particular to support the project of implementation for the incoming testing for exipients (TAMC and TYMC).
You will thrive in a fast-paced team of professionals, passionate about sterile drugs production and for delivering life-saving drug products to patients across the world!
What will you do?
Support the team to implement the incoming testing for exipients (TAMC and TYMC) in accordance with the Annex 1 requirement, and presenting in a timely manner to the supervisor any anomalies;
perform utilities testing;
perform microbiological laboratory analyses (bioburden and endotoxin) and laboratory activities;
look after the instruments, materials and working environment;
Skills
Preferable MSc in biology or biotechnology
Validated experience as a microbiological analyst in a GMP production site
Experience with aseptic laboratory technique, aseptic gowning technique, , environmental monitoring, bioburden, utilities testing and sampling, identification system for isolated microrganisms
Management of laboratory documentation (SOPs, laboratory investigation, OOS, Deviations, CoA)
Good Italian and English Level (written and spoken)
Attention to details, strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and effective interpersonal and communication skills are important.
