Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Affairs and Marketing Specialist who will also take ownership of product management. The ideal candidate should be passionate about improving the lives of patients with monoclonal gammopathy such as Multiple myeloma or other primary immunodeficiencies. This role involves interpreting complex scientific concepts and delivering scientific presentations in ANZ. You will also collaborate with global marketing and Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) teams to develop localized content.

External: Laboratory management and end users, physicians, pathologists, regulatory authorities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement yearly strategic marketing plan, aligning with global plans and working with local commercial team on execution.
  • Prepare NPD for launch in local markets working with key partners (regulatory sales team, applications)
  • Ownership including regulatory changes, new product introduction and product expertise
  • Ownership and co-ordination of local conferences and customer engagement activities including delivery of webinars
  • Communicate relevant product updates to ANZ team is timely manner.
  • Coordinate ANZ MSL activities with ANZ Territory Managers (TM), Marketing and Applications Specialist and UK and APAC MSLs, in line with growth objectives for ANZ territory
  • Coordinate ANZ external clinical projects aligned to company objectives, production of project plans and timelines
  • Assume responsibility for physician-facing activities pertaining to specified areas in support of ANZ's business goals.
  • Travel to meet the business requirements, within ANZ and international travel
  • Ensuring all ANZ team members are fully trained and competent for their roles in all aspects Protein Diagnostics product range
  • To be a subject matter authority clinical diagnostics including verification processes, CLSI guidelines and how these relate specifically to our flagship products
  • A global understanding of assays and OEM.
  • Proficient understanding of the diseases flagship products may be used in as well as the adjacencies to these products
  • Develop and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in ANZ to produce abstracts, posters and peer- reviewed articles based on data evaluation from the aforementioned studies.
  • Develop external relationships with laboratory and clinical staff to cultivate new insights into Pre NPD paperwork.
  • Ensure personal objectives and priorities are met
  • Attend Scientific conferences regionally and internationally.
  • Adherence to internal polices for travel and expense management
