M&E Lead, GCA, REFM

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is offering an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Engineering professional to join our team as an M&E Lead. As a global leader in scientific research and innovation, we are committed to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the technical responsibility of facilities service delivery for a company in China.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to achieve financial and other performance goals.
  • Support site facilities operation and ensure compliance with governmental regulations
  • Establish and roll out Engineering & Operational procedures for site staff
  • Deliver services in accordance with the client's Management Agreement SLA
  • Implement energy management programs to reduce the cost of utilities
  • Manage contract vendors and carry out technical audits/maintenance as scheduled
  • Develop technical service standards and provide solutions for technical issues
  • Initiate planning of Critical Environment procedures and preventive management programs
  • Provide advisory services during Site Inspection and Project Development
  • Coordinate with contractors/vendors for minor projects from initiation to completion

Requirements:

  • A university degree or professional qualification in engineering or facility management, or equivalent experience
  • Over 3 years of practical experience in facilities maintenance operation, preferably in a factory
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving issues with a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Strong leadership, people, and communication skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese
