General Purpose of the Position:
The Material Handler II at Thermo Fisher Scientific is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class team dedicated to excellence. This role is essential in managing inventory programs, supporting other departments, and ensuring flawless customer service. Successful candidates will be diligent, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Main Responsibilities
- Know and identify with the internal policies, values, and mission of the corporation.
- Apply procedures strictly according to the quality system.
- Respect and complete client-specific procedures when on their premises.
- Deliver excellent customer service through direct and constant interaction with customers.
- Manage inventory of all items supplied, including physical receipt, software entry, arrangement, storage, and delivery to end users.
- Handle other supply tools, such as vending machines: refill, extract, include, or remove materials as needed.
- Assist various plant points of use, including clean rooms, laboratories, and micro warehouses, with daily tours to refill materials and support end users.
- Present weekly inventory reports detailing stock management, required quantities, and identifying materials at risk of over or under consumption.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to identify new materials for inventory management and provide additional support as needed.
- Actively seek strategic contacts to expand the product portfolio and technical support, working closely with production leaders and Sales representatives.
- Communicate directly with the Sales representative to identify new market opportunities.
- Perform other related functions required by clients where inventory management services are provided.
Basic Requirements
- 2 years of experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience in handling materials in a warehouse or storage.
Additional Requirements (plus)
- University degree or equivalent experience in progress or completed
- Knowledge of SAP
- Basic knowledge of the English language

- Ease of communication with colleagues.
- Demonstrate analytical ability about material consumption (increases, reductions in use).
