Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete basic internal and external customer distribution requests.
  • Assist the Ambient Chain Shipping Supervisor and Group Lead to meet common goals.
  • Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Provide internal and external customers with detailed data when requested.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
  • Follow all Fisher Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Pick, package, and label shipments according to the Distribution SOP and protocol instructions.
  • Process all orders according to the priority set by the Distribution Leader/Supervisor to meet receipt dates.
  • Coordinate transportation with approved carriers and accurately report to carrier billing arrangements, detailing on air bills.
  • Research and report tracking information to internal customers.
  • Complete carrier reports by the end of the day.
  • Verify accurate storage conditions of shipments.
  • Find opportunities to revise or improve overall quality.
  • Load courier trucks with pallets.
  • Maintain warehouse safety, neatness, and organization per current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FCS Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Availability to work overtime, including weekends when volume justifies additional labor.
  • Prior pharmaceutical experience is a plus but not required.
