A Day in the Life:
- You will ensure accurate storage of all products in warehouse and Distribution.
- Work in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.
- Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials.
- Help ensure inventory is stored accurately.
- Work with your team to make sure everyone has a professional experience working at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- Ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders as per picking list, delivery note and invoice
- We work efficiently with co-workers to achieve team department and company key performance indicators
- Ensure accurate picking and maintain FIFO system.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures
- Adherence to ISO procedure
- Excellent social skills
- Outlook, word Excel, SAP, Teams
- Organized skills
- Knowledge of warehouse and logistics and customer care to fulfill customer orders
- Willingly accepts responsibility for actions taken
- Efficiently looks after all issues and outcomes as a result of this accountability and uses detailed logic and methods to address difficult problems with effective solutions.
Keys to Success:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
- 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
- Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and address problems quickly.
- Ability to read and write in English.
