Environmental Conditions
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Our Indianapolis site is a Center of Excellence for clinical trial packaging within our Pharma Services Group (PSG). This role is located on Eli Lilly's LTC-N campus in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Monday- Friday 6:00am- 2:45pm (overtime as necessary)

How Will You Make an Impact?:

Our Material Handler will be working in our Materials Management department and will receive, stage and ship materials produced by our packaging department. You will also need to complete all associated paperwork and other warehouse department activities throughout the day.

A Day in the Life:

Actively work to complete tasks to supply packaging demand by receiving materials into inventory and collecting the required components to process client batch records.

Prepare shipments and/or provide carrier(s) with the required paperwork such as bill of ladings, packing lists, labeling, and MSDS sheets.

Complete required GPM transactions to receive, transfer, or store goods and materials.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field.

Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks, fork trucks, or related equipment or certification.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge and ability to use computers and related technology efficiently to perform data entry and other job-related tasks using Microsoft applications.
  • Great teammate who can complete tasks safely and timely and help others as needed.
  • Prioritize good attendance
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills with the motivation to complete daily goals.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Complete required training to acquire forklift certification which is required to operator forklifts.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.

  • Starting Hourly Pay Rate at $18/hr
  • Additional shift differential for 2nd shift and 3rd shift positions
