  • Analyze the compliance challenges associated with legacy systems and outdated software in medical devices.
  • Identify current strategies and practices used by medical device manufacturers to address cybersecurity risks and achieve regulatory compliance.
  • Provide recommendations for medical device manufacturers on overcoming compliance barriers while ensuring product safety and regulatory approval across markets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on global cybersecurity regulations for medical devices.
  • Evaluate the specific challenges posed by legacy systems and outdated software in maintaining compliance.
  • Collaborate with industry experts and collaborators to gather insights and data.
  • Develop and propose innovative strategies to address cybersecurity risks and compliance barriers.
  • Present findings and recommendations through detailed reports and presentations.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct rigorous research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory environments and cybersecurity standards is a plus.
