Some key information

We have an opportunity for new talent to join the Emerging Markets EMEA Market Development Team. The Regional Marketing Specialist will develop and implement channel enablement programmes to support marketing initiatives with commercial teams and authorised partners across our region. The individual will successfully work and collaborate within a matrixed organisation to lead tactical execution of channel enablement marketing programmes and analyse marketing efficiency. You will also enable our commercial organisation and channel partners to deliver marketing revenue and achieve business financial goals.

This position does not require extensive experience of marketing to a scientific community but needs a curiosity about how to work in this area, with a passion for marketing and motivation to make an impact within our markets. This role is a full-time position based at our Inchinnan office in Paisley, Scotland and offers added flexibility of working from home one day per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Activation: Continue to develop channel activation program including finding content for Seismic, crafting marketing materials, and establishing target mechanisms.
  • Campaign Deployment: Deploy sales enablement campaigns that empower teams to deliver outstanding customer-facing events.
  • Training Programme Management: Own the training program for channel partners, manage the weekly newsletter, and handle all aspects of scheduling, promotion, hosting, and follow-up.
  • New Product Information: Collaborate with the sales function to communicate new product introductions and available tools.
  • Digital and Social: Co-ordinate digital and social marketing programs for target markets.
  • Channel Support: Provide support for channel requests including data, sample programs and campaign imagery etc.
  • Event Planning: Assist in the planning and delivery of annual channel partner meeting.
  • Budget Management: Track and manage the OpEx budget for the EMEA Emerging Markets marketing team.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform additional tasks as required or assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Education: A marketing degree or qualification is essential; experience in life science or the biotech industry is advantageous.
  • Sales Enablement: Proven track record to implement sales enablement plans that drive revenue growth
  • Cross-functional Teamwork: Strong record of working in cross-functional teams within complex organisations
  • Passion and Motivation: A strong desire and motivation to build a career in marketing.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Project Ownership: Ability to take ownership of projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Campaign Development: Proficiency in developing and completing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with AI and Seismic is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the specified geographic region, estimated at less than 10%.
