This Marketing Planner II role is an extraordinary opportunity to plan and implement marketing strategies for an innovative, industry-leading brand! Join the Customer Lifecycle Marketing team within the Fisher Scientific channel North America Marketing department.

Location/Division Specific Information

US - Pittsburgh, PA. This role will require onsite support at our Pittsburgh office location.

CCG RSD NA & Emerging Markets Division

A Day in the Life:

  • Implement comprehensive go-to-market tactical strategies across various marketing channels, driving from strategy development to the measurement phase, including strategy planning, work order submission, proofing, and performance evaluation.
  • Manage comprehensive digital channel planning for a business vertical or horizontal, inclusive of partner alignment/priorities, market trends, and our digital channel vision and strategies
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing tactic performance, both proactively and retroactively, to identify key placements and areas for improvement or optimization, thereby driving continuous improvement
  • Responsible for reviewing and optimizing user needs to align with marketing goals, target customers, customer needs, and our value proposition/solution for the customer need
  • Prioritize most impactful tactical work within the department, accounting for capacity, dependencies, budget/AOP management, and a unified customer experience
  • Handle supplier relationships, providing day-to-day support, lead proofing processes, and execution of supplier commitments while encouraging awareness of tactics to garner support from portfolio and market development managers, thereby ensuring alignment with supplier yearly goals and objectives
  • Support the development and launch of the Supplier Marketing program, including package development, package selling initiatives, and supplier selling support activities, with the overarching goal of achieving the program's yearly objectives.
  • Responsible for the primary segment, product, and/or program focus, while offering secondary coverage support as required, fostering collaborative relationships with key marketing functions such as Market Development Mangers, Matrix Planning Managers, Portfolio Management, Marketing Science, Operations, and Experience to develop and implement impactful marketing tactic strategies.
  • Lead the development of supplier marketing plans, including calendars/trackers, overviews, proof of performance and tactical metrics reporting for diverse audiences

Keys to Success:

Experience

  • 3+ years marketing experience preferred
  • 1+ year working with digital marketing channels (email, social, search, display, etc.) required
  • Experience and/or understanding of scientific or laboratory products preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in marketing, science, or related field. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to function in a sophisticated, matrix business environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple priorities and projects at the same time
  • Excellent social skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
