This position is located in Gurgaon, India within the Marketing division of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.

A day in the Life:

  • Develop Strategic Marketing Plans for yearlong downstream marketing by applying a mix of physical (events, customer days) and digital marketing tactics.
  • Business Collaborations to implement plans to support demand generation and thereby impact revenue.
  • Complete management of tactics from start to finish with support from cross-functional collaborators, vendor coordination, and management of internal and external collaborators.
  • Develop budgets and strategize implementation plans while collaborating with local and global collaborators. Be agile for change in strategy after evaluation of tactics to accommodate business requirements basis business judgement for maximum revenue impact.
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to the business leadership about industry trends, marketing impact, competitor activities and new product introductions.
  • Lead branding and communications along with vendor management.
  • Support vertical marketing activities with industry trends reporting.
  • Develop and support Digital Marketing strategies for long-term impact and maximum value.
  • Strategize and implement channel marketing and NPI launches.

Keys to Success:

Ideal candidates for this role should have excellent organization, communication, and teamwork skills, along with a successful history of implementing marketing tactics like events and tradeshows. Proficiency in excel for data analytics is a plus.

Education

  • B.tech in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent experience
  • Master's in business administration, MBA (Strategy/Ops/Marketing), or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Proven experience (Min 5 years) in marketing role preferably in industrial or applied sectors
  • Experience with downstream marketing, event management, digital marketing is helpful.
  • Team management experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership - Ability to manage a team or collaborate with cross-functional collaborators.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role may require occasional travel basis event requirements and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
