Working hours:

Monday - Friday
Full-time 40h/week, 8.00 am - 4.30 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Complete weekly production shop orders, work orders, and equipment maintenance tasks with accuracy.
  • Follow batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure precise process documentation.
  • Formulate and assess reagents, using pipettes and scales to measure raw materials.
  • Manage raw materials and inventory through a kanban system.
  • Use the MRP system to issue materials, perform material transactions, and track manufacturing time.
  • Conduct in-process testing of in-vitro diagnostic devices and document results accurately.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper operation of allocated equipment, following health and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure schedule adherence.
  • Be flexible in working across different laboratory areas and assisting other departments when required.
  • Adhere to GMP requirements, health and safety standards, and use appropriate PPE.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Support process development initiatives and carry out other tasks as needed to contribute to overall manufacturing efficiency.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a laboratory or a related field is an advantage, but graduates are also welcome.
  • Confident in using Excel at intermediate level, and basic math (unit conversions, calculations).
  • Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow batch records and SOPs accurately.
  • Able to work safely with chemicals and reagents.
  • Punctual, diligent, and enthusiastic with a solid work ethic.
  • Comfortable with working both independently and within a team to meet deadlines.
  • Adept at identifying, supporting, and implementing continuous improvements.
  • Able to lift up to 10 kg.

Required Education:

  • GCSEs or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous but not Essential):

  • Degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP-compliant or operational environment.
