How Will You Make an Impact?:
As a Manufacturing Technician I, you will play a vital role in our success as the products sold by Thermo Fisher Scientific EFA Richardson, TX Division will be produced by you.
Shift: 7:30a to 4pm; Monday - Friday
A Day in the Life:
- Carry out various assembly tasks in a production lab
- Use optical microscope for assembly of small components
- You will be responsible for the manufacturing, testing, and quality of mechanical and electrical products
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Required: No previous work experience required
- Preferred: Previous work experience in manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field
- Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Visual acuity and hand/eye coordination to assemble, manipulate, and test small, precision electronic and mechanical components
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, pinout instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time

Compensation
- $14.05-$21.07/hr
- Additional shift differential for 2nd shift and 3rd shift positions
