Job Description

The Manager, Xactly Architecture will have a key role in driving the sales organization to achieve success within the defined sales strategies and objectives. This exciting and highly visible role will partner with the Sr Manager, Sales Operations to ensure successful execution of initiatives and projects. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will have the chance to shape the roadmap for Xactly at Thermo Fisher, providing a one-of-a-kind opportunity for career growth!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the incentive compensation plan in Xactly, ensuring detailed execution and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Demonstrate your expertise in Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) systems configuration by handling changes in Xactly during our Fiscal planning cycle.
  • Identify and develop process efficiencies to support end-to-end automation, driving operational excellence.
  • Address complex issues and offer guidance on the design, measures, and policies of incentive plans.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to devise and put into action administrative Compensation Policies, ensuring they align with Finance, Legal, HR, Sales Operations, and Sales and Client Services Management.
  • Provide valuable input on compensation plan design, system functionality, and implementation process to the Director of Sales Compensation and key team leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Compensation team to improve participant, payment, and policy management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a quantitative major (finance, business, mathematics, statistics) preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in sales compensation, showcasing your proven expertise.
  • Passionate about fostering the development of your team, you possess strong leadership abilities and are dedicated to their success.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical abilities, a strong problem-solving approach, and effective project management skills.
  • Experienced in large, complex organizations with multiple revenue channels or sales divisions.
  • Always looking for ways to improve processes and design effectiveness, challenging the status quo.
  • A solid understanding of incentive compensation concepts and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals across various levels.
  • Exceptional prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in identifying areas for process improvement and successful execution.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerBI skills.
  • Prior experience with automated compensation tools such as Xactly, Varicent, or similar software applications.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $107,900.00-$161,825.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
