Job Description

This position will be responsible for planning and procurement staff to assure compliance to our customers' requirements. Requires strong leadership, analytical, and critical thinking skills, as well as a deep understanding of supply chain processes and standard methodologies. Works in close coordination with teams across various departments to optimize scheduling and production, striving to improve important metrics including OTIF, Backorder, Inventory, E&O, Schedule Attainment, Utilization, and Overtime. In addition, the role plays a crucial part in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.

Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, and inventory management.

Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure seamless and cost-effective supply chain processes.

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Find opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the supply chain.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout the supply chain.

Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team to ensure dedication and continuous improvement. Use PMD for team development opportunities and goals.

Develop and maintain relationships with key collaborators, including vendors, customers, and internal teams, to drive supply chain initiatives.

Lead supply chain budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Monitor market trends and industry standard processes to stay ahead of supply chain challenges and opportunities.

Lead new product transfers to ensure correct signals generated by MRP- following sequences of ERP, Data Governance, and critical metric (SAP data) and apply Operation Excellence practices.

Develop and implement integrated Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning. Organize and report monthly SIOP Meetings.

Being responsible for inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to meet demand while minimizing excess inventory, and ensuring accuracy in inventory tracking and management.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field, with at least 3 years in people management/ leadership role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Forecast Pro, Kinaxis, etc).

Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

Normal office & manufacturing environment

Position may require frequent communication and walking to other areas in which designated PPE will be required.

Position will require sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods of time.

May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00-$154,700.00.
