We are seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be assisting the Sr Manager Indirect Tax.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Operational Tasks:

  • Submission of CBAM Filings.
  • Conduct regular analysis of indirect tax data to identify potential risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

2. Assist with Tactical and Strategic Tasks:

  • Monitor changes and compliance with indirect tax legislation (e.g. packaging taxes).
  • Assist with VAT adjacent projects (e.g. E-Invoicing, SAF-T).
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to business management on VAT-related affairs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Financial Centers of Excellence, Legal, Commercial, IT).
  • Perform field and systems tests ("internal VAT audits").
  • Drive automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Proven experience in VAT compliance and management, preferably in a multinational or large organization.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Tech savvy (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Resource Systems). Programming experience is a plus.

• Persistence, tenacity to get a task done.

• Proficient in using MS Office Suite.

• Hands-on.
