Manager, Indirect Sales Eastern Europe Region

Location: Remote (Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary)

You as a Manager, Indirect Sales provide strong strategic and operational commercial leadership to the Eastern Europe / V4 region across all indirect sales through channel partner to ensure bookings and revenue targets are met. Focus on achieving meaningful growth and market share increase and developing effective interpersonal processes/networks to achieve this.

Your qualifications:

  • Deliver bookings and revenues for the assigned territories in line with and above the interpersonal AOP growth targets.
  • Develop partner-specific influence strategies based on a vendor's unique value differentiators.
  • Assess market potential, define goals & supervise progress to drive growth and channel partner development
  • To collate and review timely and accurate forecasts for the CMD product line & vertical target markets for regions of responsibility and to maintain the business pipeline within SFDC.
  • Use the available product-focused collateral to develop a sustainable pipeline of projects within the region.
  • Organize and deliver customer-facing technical presentations at key conferences and tradeshows to drive customer awareness and acceptance of the products and capabilities.
  • Co-ordinate with Product Managers, Vertical Marketing and Marcom to ensure customer-facing materials are prepared and ready for seminars/shows/conferences. Where applicable generate data and support materials for product marketing initiatives.
  • Drive new product introduction processes for the region via training, seminars, key account visits and any other events which may be appropriate
  • Ensure development and support of CMD appointed distributors in the region. Ensure development of potential new partners and built, handle and develop the best possible distributor network.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with all distribution channels on technical and sales related topics such as but not limited to:
  • Providing regular rolling forecast - complete, on time and accurate

Your qualifications:

  • A minimum of a BSc degree in a science based subject or equivalent is required, with + 5 years of experience Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (advantage Master of Business communication)
  • Demonstrate strong market knowledge and deep experience in the Applied Markets and scientific research markets.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to develop partnerships with key accounts and end users.
  • Excellent eye for business with the ability to take a strategic perspective beyond immediate role/responsibility
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and feel at ease presenting regularly with technical and business teams across multiple sites and demonstrate a strong executive presence
  • Ability to attend trade shows and investigate product/market opportunities
  • Ability to use MS Office Suite to create notes and presentations
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including international destinations when required
