What You'll Do

  • Provide analytical, reporting, and strategic support to the HMD commercial team and other business partners.
  • Lead the sales compensation annual forecasting process.
  • Lead the HMD finance commercial forecast.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the commercial organization's recognition awards program.
  • Maintain/build reports and perform actionable analyses to support growth and profitability.
  • Serve as the point of contact for compensation and forecast-related questions.
  • Liaison between compensation, commercial and FP&A.
  • Drive share of wallet opportunities between RSD & HMD.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives for HMD finance through PPI/AI/etc.
  • Perform other duties and project support as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Demonstrate robust financial acumen in areas such as financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, internal control, and technical accounting knowledge.

  • Proven ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, and draw conclusions from ambiguous data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clear and concise analysis to management.

  • Proven experience in participating on cross-functional teams and building organizational relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize effectively, and make wise decisions.

  • Excellent skills in MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, and COGNOS; skills in Database (SQL), Visual Basic, and AI are preferred.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate the business impact in financial terms.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with functional leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage diverse responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and balance multiple assignments.
