Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Enhancing EHS and Sustainability Culture
- Promote EHS and sustainability awareness throughout the organization by developing and implementing strategic plans to cultivate a strong safety and sustainability culture.
- Set environmental and sustainability goals and develop long-term plans to integrate these goals into business operations.
Developing EHS and Sustainability Systems
- Continuously review and update EHS, environmental, and sustainability management systems to align with current regulations and standard processes.
- Develop risk assessment and management processes, providing tools and procedures to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks.

Monitoring and Reporting EHS & Sustainability Performance
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators for EHS and sustainability, using data-driven analysis to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and submit regular performance reports to management to facilitate clear information sharing and provide updates on sustainability progress.
Regulatory Compliance and Audits
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards, identifying areas for improvement through regular audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare for external audits and conduct internal audits to support continuous EHS and sustainability improvements.
Team Management and Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team to achieve dedication across various areas (General Safety, ESG, Radiation Safety, Warehouse Safety, Sustainability).
- Regularly assess team members' performance, developing tailored growth plans to support specialization in each field.
- Develop collaboration among team members and allocate resources effectively to support organizational goals.
Training and Program Implementation
- Plan and conduct regular training sessions and workshops to ensure that all employees understand and follow EHS and sustainability policies and procedures.
- Assess program effectiveness using key performance indicators and drive additional improvements based on findings.
Responding to Client ESG and Sustainability Requests
- Identify and address client ESG and sustainability requirements, developing and implementing response plans that align with their needs.
- Maintain consistency between internal ESG and sustainability standards and client requirements, fostering collaboration.
- Prepare reports and data to provide clients with relevant ESG and sustainability information, building trust through visibility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field
- Experience: Demonstrated ability in EHS and sustainability, with a strong preference for managing multidisciplinary teams, improving culture, and developing systems with 15+ years of work experience
- 3+ years of people management experience
Skills and Certifications:
- Proven experience in risk management, systems audits, ESG, and sustainability management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and EHS/sustainability software
- Mandatory Certifications: Industrial Safety Engineer or Equivalent Certification to registered as Safety Manager on Government
