Manager, Business Development

Are you ready to take on an ambitious role that shapes the future of our company in Korea? As a Manager in Business Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will play a critical role in defining and implementing our key account business strategies. You will help us maintain our competitive edge and allocate resources flawlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the company's overall key account business strategy and mission (4i Value).
  • Participate in a new regeneration project team, providing market insight and overview.
  • Support multiple Practical Process Improvement (PPI) projects aimed at profitable growth through continuous improvement.
  • Actively communicate and collaborate with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members to understand and adapt to organizational requirements.
  • Conduct effective decision-making education for LSG (Life Science Group) commercial leaders.
  • Develop efficient processes for understanding business requirements, designing analytics, and delivering key findings to relevant collaborators.
  • Search for and implement useful business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Build networks with customers, industry associations, and other industries for business partnerships.

Requirements

  • We welcome applicants with a BSc/BA in business administration, marketing, finance, or related fields, or those with equivalent experience. An MS/MBA is considered advantageous.
  • 10+ years of work experience in marketing or business development in bio related industry
  • Proven success in large account management and new market penetration.
  • Experience as a strategic assistant or business consultant.
  • Analytical mind with a strong interest in problem-solving.
  • Project management knowledge; certification is an advantage.
  • Work experience in an agency or enterprise.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborator management skills.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English with exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
