Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of CMD (Chromatography and Mass Spec Division) of the Thermo Fisher Scientific Korea. In this role you will proactively manage team, accounts and focus on selling the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry instruments into industry marketmarket in South Korea.

You will be proactively developed sales opportunities and optimally conduct and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed quota targets within the territory.

  • Responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining their satisfaction
  • Ensure timely response to all customer requests
  • Identify market trends and customer needs and implement optimum solutions in order to generate new pipeline and opportunity
  • Work with product specialist, application scientists and service engineers to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Develop new customers and new opportunities proactively and independently
  • Work collaboratively with not only CMD commercial but all our Thermo product and service team as a One team
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and sales quota.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Handle raised customer issues and work towards quick and effective resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or equivalent.
  • Sales representative with proven experience; Chromatography and/or Mass Spectrometry instruments.
  • Experience and knowledge on Chromatography, Spectroscopy and Mass are preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize activities that achieve sales goals, good time and territory management skills.
  • Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel both by ground and air carrier

  • Driven and responsible with a focus on achieving targets and producing effective results
  • Good communication skill with customers and colleagues
  • Fluent or native in Korean is required, Fluent in English is plus
