Position/Location Specific Information

  • Lead Skilled Tradesman, 3rd Shift
  • Plainville, MA site within Pharma Services Group (PSG).

What will you do?

  • Works with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Completes emergency repairs as needed.
  • Completes preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems as established in department procedures and audits required by regulatory agencies.
  • Utilizes Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager to document on-demand and planned maintenance in a validated maintenance system.
  • Orders and maintains inventory of spare parts, consumables.
  • Monitors Facilities equipment daily via BMS, troubleshooting problems.
  • Coordinates the services of outside vendors when necessary.
  • Identifies existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining required documentation including but not limited to blueprints, plans, and permits according to Company procedures and the requirements of external parties.
  • Documents daily facilities equipment operation and maintenance activities. Performs plant rounds and records readings on various systems.
  • A detailed working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment and the related regulatory requirements needed; proficiency in more than one trade.
  • Proven communications, customer service and technical skills

Education:

  • Minimum High school diploma or Equivalent (GED).
  • Preference given to candidates with bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Requirements:

  • Willing to work overtime as needed and participate in planned Manufacturing shutdown activities w/ overtime.
  • Preferred Language is English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification in a mechanical and/or electrical trade.
  • Prior experience repairing HVAC/refrigeration systems preferred.
  • Will be required to obtain a plant specific, special boiler operator's license in the future.
