1st shift : Mon-Fri 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all tasks related to the company's preventive maintenance program.
  • Address production issues involving mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance.
  • Conduct tooling changes, machine setups, and in-process adjustments.
  • Rebuild, calibrate, and configure sealing components and controls.
  • Accurately document machine downtime, repairs, and critical process controls.
  • Train and mentor technicians under supervisor guidance.
  • Engage in new machine designs and qualifications, both on-site and off-site.
  • Participate in equipment installation.
  • Provide technical support for new manufacturing product designs.
  • Manage assets and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for new equipment and supporting projects.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education degree with 2+ years of experience, or 4+ years of demonstrated ability in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Positive attitude towards change.
  • Ability to follow complex procedures meticulously.
  • High attention to detail while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong task management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for technical support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a CGMP or Lean manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Highly organized with diligent documentation practices.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day, with potential for additional overtime.
  • Compliance with specific gowning requirements, including gloves, hair & beard net, face cover, and safety glasses (no makeup/jewelry).
  • Ability to stand, move about, reach, bend, stoop, and grasp.
  • Use of hand tools and equipment, including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting and manipulation of up to 50 pounds unassisted.
