Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your demonstrated expertise in essential production roles to diligently follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and operating procedures for pre-inspection, assembly, testing, and final inspection.
  • Maintain quality assurance by successfully completing daily production tasks and meeting quality and safety objectives.
  • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of production through the submission and implementation of suggestions using the PPI framework. This includes enhancing equipment utilization, capacity, process flow, and work environment to improve efficiency, quality metrics, and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to monitor data on First Pass Yield (FPY) from the OIC platform and work together to address major issues identified, ultimately improving the pass rate.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and versatility by acquiring multiple skills and providing cross-line support. Follow the training process to ensure the successful skill training of new employees.
  • Provide support for the assembly and testing of prototypes and collaborate closely with the engineering team on related project validations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in a mechanical or instrument-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, with a preference for some English reading and writing abilities.
  • Ability to interpret simple mechanical assembly drawings (such as exploded views), circuit control schematics, liquid piping diagrams, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the assembly and testing of electromechanical products, with a preference for experience in the instrument industry.
  • Prior experience in optical system assembly or debugging is a plus.
  • Strong hands-on ability, data analysis skills, and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent quality awareness and the ability to analyze quality issues using PPI tools.
  • Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration between the production line and the engineering team.
