Job Title: Lead Accounts Payable Representative - AP Quality and Controls

Reports to: Team Leader, Accounts Payable

Position Summary:

The Lead Accounts Payable Representative - P2P Quality and Controls is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the Procure to Pay processes through strong quality control measures and comprehensive reporting. This role involves systematically reviewing and improving P2P procedures, generating detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to improve the overall performance of the EMEA P2P function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and maintain P2P control processes for critical spend across EMEA
  • Proactively generate ideas and solutions to supervise critical spend by using PPI tools (Dploy,Rever) and digital capabilities (PowerBI, Smartsheet)
  • Prepare and maintain a regular reporting format on critical spend to present to stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain control reports for invoices in Troubleshooting, with particular focus on 'Due and Unpaid' items
  • Prepare and maintain control reports for month-end close P2P activities across EMEA
  • Proactively identify, investigate and resolve payment exceptions prior to scheduled payment run
  • Analyze the root causes of payment exceptions and implement corrective actions to avoid reoccurrence
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve payment exceptions in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

  • A consistent track record working in Accounts Payable, 3 years plus experience is recommended
  • Confident knowledge of MS tools, particularly Excel
  • Highly analytical approach, attention to detail and excellent reporting skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain internal controls for spend and quality
  • Ability to multitask and follow (frequently changing) priorities
  • Ability to perform reporting tasks as assigned by the AP Team Lead
  • Ability to prepare and present data to stakeholders as required
  • Team person attitude, quick learner, flexibility and high adaptability to change
  • Positive mentality, "can-do" attitude
