Location/Division Specific Information

We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen currently, with over 500 employees, and our "high-end" measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as Trace Elemental Analysis, are among the leading products globally in their respective markets.

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software solutions.
  • Debug and optimize code to ensure flawless performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to an ambitious development process.
  • Implement multithreading requirements and mathematical algorithms.
  • Develop and test software components within the overall system.
  • Analyze and debug the overall system to resolve undefined error patterns.
  • Coordinate with departments like electronics to successfully implement projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • Determined to strictly adhere to project timelines and deliverables.

Education

  • Completed at least 3 years of vocational training in computer science or a related field.

Experience

  • Familiarity with object orientated programming languages such as C# or Java.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects successfully.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong competence in coding using life-cycle management systems.
  • Ability to develop test algorithms.
