Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of application architectures that align with business objectives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into comprehensive application designs.
• Assess current systems and technologies to identify areas that can be enhanced, and suggest suitable solutions.
• Establish application standards, guidelines, and effective approaches to promote consistency and maintainability.
• Manage the creation and upkeep of comprehensive application documentation, encompassing architecture diagrams, design specifications, and related materials.
• Collaborate with teams from various departments to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring compliance with architectural standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and proven methods, suggesting creative solutions to improve our application landscape.
• Conduct system assessments and performance optimizations to improve application efficiency and user experience.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure application architectures meet security and compliance requirements.
• Effectively communicate with individuals from various technical backgrounds, providing clear and concise explanations of complex technical concepts.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered; Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an Application Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient application architectures.
• Extensive understanding of application design principles, integration patterns, and effective approaches.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with application frameworks and technologies, such as Spring, .NET, or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
