The Position
Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:
- Working in compliance with legislation and IMS (required for all)
- Participate as an intern in development projects within Thermo Fisher or with partners.
- Your work will include:
- Theoretical analysis and simulation in the area of expertise
- Assisting in the development of (sub)system designs within the area of expertise, in multidisciplinary teams.
- Assisting in the setup and execution of tests to investigate detailed behavior of designs and support their implementation in Thermo Fisher systems.
- Assist in optimizing system-level performance.
- Communication and documentation of your own work through presentations and reports.
- Grow your technical knowledge in principles and theories relevant to your area of expertise.
Requirements:
- University student (bachelor's or master's) or doctoral candidate in physics or mathematics
- General technical knowledge, understanding of applied physics, mathematics and programming
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
- The ability for independent thinking and decision-making
- Active and creative approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
