Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, Asia Pacific Japan, you will function as a People Leader and Business Partner in India. You will possess a strong passion for leadership. Working as a Talent Acquisition SME, you will partner with the Business Leaders, your TA Delivery Teams (In-House & Recruitment Processing Outsourcing (RPO)), translating business needs to hiring results. What will you do?
You will be responsible for attracting and hiring top talents for various business groups and functions within IT COE, Commercial, Shared Services, and various sites across India. Your focus will be on delivering an outstanding candidate and hiring team experience. As the functional advisor for Talent Acquisition, you will drive the talent acquisition strategy for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
You will be the go-to person for expertise in Talent Acquisition, covering all aspects from sourcing strategies to onboarding top talent. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture by bridging gaps between teams, departments, and individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective working relationships with the Business, HR Business Partners and Centre of Excellence, be responsible for building positive relationships to establish credibility for TA function.
- Develop a team of consultative, trusted talent advisors who are strong business partners. They can guide hiring teams through recruitment by providing valuable insights and service, with a focus on hiring top talent.
- Create strong talent pipelines by developing programs for proactive sourcing of qualified applicants and optimizing on employer branding across a mix of social media and recruitment channels.
- Maintain data integrity in your portfolio through the use of Power BI, a Candidate Relationship Management System (CRM), and an Applicant Tracking System (ATS). This will help establish accountability and alignment with SLAs and critical metrics for both the in-House Team and RPO provider.
- Develop and implement solutions to hiring challenges and improving the talent acquisition process and deliver outcomes passionate about continuous improvement.
- Lead the team by enabling personal development and growth while guiding them in efficiently managing priorities.
- Analysing and interpreting data to identify hiring trends across the sites to implement effective hiring strategies.
- May be involved in regional TA projects or perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
Education
- University degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of Talent Acquisition Team leadership experience, and the ability to mentor, coach and empower others.
- Prior experience in RPO, business partnering, project or relationship management preferred.
- Experience in crafting and implementing sourcing strategy to meet hiring needs.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining successful relationships.
- Knowledge of local labor market, talent channels and candidate insights.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive improvements and define strategy.
- Effective communicator - navigating through ambiguity, change and barriers to execution.
- Ability to guide partners through complicated situations, driving successful outcomes while setting expectations.
