We are looking for an HR Generalist/Partner for Thermo Fisher Scientific Netherlands who will start working with us in Groningen. Who would like to join our HR team!

As HR Generalist/Partner you will act as a trusted partner and change agent and work closely with our managers and employees on-site and remote. In today's market, innovative and forward-thinking people strategy is integral to short and long-term business success. How will you make an impact?

Our responsibilities include talent management, guiding employee engagement, developing and coaching our leaders, and providing tools, analytics and expertise to the teams. Strong HR Partner for Organizational Change and Culture.

What will you do:

  • Foster key relationships with managers and employees and based on having good (data) insights and strong intuition for business, implement our HR plans that enable the businesses to fulfill their goals, drive growth and create a culture of engagement.
  • Support annual HR processes in line with country and global HR strategies.
  • Enable and support the development of people management and make talent development key in HR
  • On an ad hoc level, various processes will require actions in terms of system approvals. You are available for answering ad hoc queries or questions related to policies or local employment law.
  • Provide support and feedback to managers on talent management activities including performance management, training and development, organizational change initiatives.
  • Partner with Colleague Services and the HR Platforms (CoE) and support in harmonization and process improvement projects for the site

In addition to building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally, you must be team-focused with excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • demonstrable experience in Human Resources
  • Meaningful experience and knowledge on Dutch employment law
  • Quickly build and sustain relationships with a range of partners of all levels.
  • Strong eye for business, the ability to challenge and influence managers and leaders in a matrix organization and understands the dynamics of the global marketplace.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Dutch
