Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive Channel Strategy and devise framework to ensure maximum geographical reach and business growth .
  • Devise AOP and Incentive Plans in tandem with business growth to drive accountability for channel partners.
  • Promote Workflow Selling and Training for Channel Partners and build a structured programme.
  • Build a framework to drive independent distributor driven sales model including driving strategic localization initiatives.
  • Meets assigned targets for AR collections and strategic objectives in assigned territory and channel/distributor accounts across the assigned division
  • Monitors AR collections performance and investigate historical data for timely RCCM
  • Develops and publishes relevant dashboards for review and tracking
  • Resolve billing issues and take adequate steps to encourage timely payments
  • Leads channel/distributor planning & execution with the respective business leader
  • Leads a planning process that develops mutual performance objectives & financial targets, builds efficient channel processes and workflows, channel/distributor performance reporting, marketing, and support activities for channels/distributors
  • Assesses, clarifies, and validates channel/distributor needs, gaps and requirements to be maintain successful business on an ongoing basis
  • Monitors performance of channel/distributor and coaches them to higher levels of success
  • Ensures channel/distributor compliance basis set agreements and company guidelines
  • Manages a team of regional channel managers and lead their hiring, performance, development, and career planning activities
  • Manages potential channel/distributor conflict with other partners or sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned channel/distributor
  • Drive secondary sales data collection and actionable analytics

Skills & Experience:

  • Graduate degree in BSc/Commerce/Economics, master's degree in business administration (preferred)
  • 15+ year of demonstrate experience in similar role with a strong focus on sales and channel development for similar industry
  • Track record of achieving targets for AR collections, partner recruitment & enablement, review performance
  • Ability to work closely with commercial and finance teams to ensure financial health for the division
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to interact with technical and business counterparts both within and outside the company
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of working in the field, with dealers and distributors
  • Must have analytical skills and intellectual ability to develop ideas, apply creative thinking, prepare a business plan and report quantitative data
  • Must have decision - making ability to perceive and evaluate alternatives, analyze impact of decisions before executing them and implement decisions with appropriate evidence and rationale
