U.S. - Remote/ Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMD) Division

The Government Contracts Analyst will become an integral member of the Contract Management Team in CMD. In this role, you will coordinate federal General Services Administration (GSA) and state-level contract schedules, ensure compliance, and accurate data analysis and reporting. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in master data management.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manage federal GSA and state contract schedules, including price updates, audits, reports, payments, and price management (reductions, increases, and IFF reporting).
  • Coordinate the GSA Catalog Platform by handling updates to material offerings, including new products, retired products, promotional bundles, and maintaining accurate pricing, data, documents, and images on GSA Advantage


  • Improve the structure of GSA spending reports. Serve as a liaison between the government contracting officer and critical teams involved in GSA contracts, including Product Management, Sales, Pricing, and Finance.


  • Develop, implement, and lead a process for monthly compliance checks on pricing, COO, and Price Reduction clauses to ensure adherence to government and state regulations. Collaborate with order processing teams on findings and provide training for improved processes.
  • Interact with clients and internal auditors to provide audit support through compliance audits, sales analysis, and the creation of ad-hoc reports for Corporate Finance, Legal, Sales, and Product Management, ensuring understanding of financial data and alignment with federal regulations.
  • Coordinate the process for reviewing quotes pending GSA approval, ensuring compliance and accurate approvals. Provide support and training to other approvers and assist with sales-related questions to facilitate smooth, efficient and accurate transactions.
  • Drive process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiencies and standardization, including working with IT to develop modifications to existing information systems.
  • Provide background information and solutions for automating contract pricing, and support PPI projects aimed at automating pricing and improving tools while ensuring compliance.
  • Support training of sales and order management teams on GSA processes, including quoting and order booking, to ensure conformity with procedures and compliance with regulations.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business or legal related field preferred

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in contracts administration and compliance
  • Experience in government contracting is a strong preference
  • General Services Administration (GSA) experience required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Extensive expertise in federal and state contracting procedures.
  • Proficient in data governance with knowledge of databases such as SFDC, CPQ, SAP, and GSAdvantage.
  • Strong communication with a collaborative and integrative style of working to reach common goals and objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to succeed in fast-paced environments, independently handling tasks and coordinating and collaborating within teams.
  • Meticulous with a high degree of integrity, intensity and involvement.
  • Demonstration of clear, concise, and engaging written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to lead, coordinate, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
