We are currently recruiting a Global Product Manager to join our SBS Beads Business segment, part of our Sample Preparation business unit. You will join a team passionate about making the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
In this role you will build and implement a vision for products that exceed the needs of and delights our customers. You will work with an outstanding team in an international working environment to make an impact to deliver market leading products.
This role will be office-based at our Oslo site with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Some international travel (up to 25% per annum), including overnight stays, will be required.
Key Responsibilities
As a Global Product Manager, you will:
- Identify new business opportunities/markets and lead their evaluation (technical, customer need, business potential).
- Collect voice of customer to identify user needs and define product requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.
- Analyze market trends and define competitive strategy, value proposition and positioning.
- Prepare business proposals and financial models to support strategic investments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and operations, to drive product development and commercialization efforts.
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback and initiate appropriate product life cycle management activities to improve or rationalize the product portfolio
- Build go-to-market strategies and provide training and support to sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product positioning and messaging.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and collaborators.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Master's degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of customer facing experience in the life sciences or related industry
- Excellent analytical, stategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English required and Norwegian preferred
- Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed and cross-functional organization.
